Mr. H’s Online Writing Course
Writing Courses are designed for students or young adults, who need to understand the writing process, and enhance their essay writing abilities.
During the course, students will learn:
- to identify and use the stages of essay writing (brainstorming, drafting, peer editing and proofreading)
- to plan and write different types of essays (Narrative, Description, Classification, Compare-Contrast, Cause-Effect, and Argumentative essays).
- to create clear and effective thesis statement for essays.
- to write well-developed introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs with clear topic sentences and supporting details.
- to understand and use basic essential grammar and punctuation skills.
The last level is a comprehensive course covering basics of fluency, pronunciation and listening. Students will practice their listening and speaking while learning new words and how the grammar rules they have learned fit in with real life situations and usage of the English language.

1. If a student failed their assessment, a refund of the assessment fee will not be returned.
2. A confirmation email contains student's name and placement course dates and times will be sent after submitting the form. No further confirmation is needed.
3. The course will be paid in full prior to the start of the course.
4. Refunds are allowed until two days before the course start, the materials fee is nonrefundable.
5. Once the course has started, refunds will not be made under any circumstances.
6. In case of a student's unexcused absence for 3 classes or more, the student will not be granted to continue the course.
7. In case of a student's absence from a class, he/she will be given a copy of the worksheet/s taught in that class, and no further explanation will be made.
8. If the course is cancelled by the course administration, refunds of the course and assessment fees will be made.
9. The course is held online via zoom.
